Wake of a Nation (EP)

Ayn Soph Zeal & Ardor contributed largely to my education on racism. It was this music that made me understand what People of Colour have had to endure - and still have to endure up to this day. It was also this music that helped me through the anger accompanying the first weeks of the BLM riots.
I can't be anything but grateful for what Manuel taught me by his music: Righteous anger, a healthy dose of insubordinance and anarchism, and the will to endure. Favorite track: Tuskegee.

Trick Dempsey Wake of a Nation is a tour-de-force. Absolutely stellar. Favorite track: Wake of a Nation.

themadjozef Powerful vocals and instrumentals, this album is close to perfection, which adds to the heaviness of its message. Favorite track: Tuskegee.

Vigil 03:10
Vigil You took all we had away You’re quick to call it sick, but we’ve been damned to say I can’t breathe, it’s a cellphone, please don’t shoot, I need to get home, I’m on my knees begging please So you’re just following orders They just keep falling on us How many more will it last? Why not just take all of us? You took all our hope away We try to keep it down but we’re all damned to say I can’t breathe, it’s a cellphone, please don’t shoot, I need to get home, I’m on my knees begging please So you’re just following orders They just keep falling on us How many more will it last? Why not just take all of us? We won’t take this quietly (Won’t you help me run now) How to take a life we’ll never get them back I can’t breathe, it’s a cellphone, please don’t shoot, I need to get home, I’m on my knees begging please So you’re just following orders They just keep falling on us How many more will it last? Why not just take all of us?
